Celebration meeting, seminar on exploits and film show took place in Thailand on February 15 to mark the 82^nd birth anniversary of the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il.

Present there were members of the Thailand-DPRK Friendship Association led by Chairman Metha Matkhao, the Juche idea study organisation led by Chairman Prof. Songchit Pullar and the Thailand-DPRK Parliamentary Group for Friendship led by Chairman Prasit Puttamapadungsak.

Speeches were made at the seminar.

The chairman of the Juche idea study organisation warmly congratulated the Korean people celebrating the 82^nd birth anniversary of respected His Excellency Kim Jong Il. He said that the Chairman’s exploits such as formularizing the Juche idea as Kimilsungism and firmly defending the socialist system will be eternal along with mankind around the world.

The chairman of the Thailand-DPRK Friendship Association said that the birth anniversary of His Excellency Kim Jong Il is an auspicious holiday that the Korean people and humankind of the whole world are unanimous in celebrating and greeting with joy and the feats His Excellency Kim Jong Il performed for the development of friendly relations between the two countries will remain long.

Then the participants saw the Korean documentary film “Arms of the DPRK.”
